Of course I was on the news…I’ll never stop telling Harvey’s story

It was an honor to be interviewed alongside Faith Fitzgerald, Director of Community Health Programs for Hospice of the Chesapeake.

In March of this year, Faith submitted my name to a pool of candidates as “someone by who might be interested” in talking with ABC 2 News Reporter Xavier Wherry.

Xavier was answering the call to highlight grief programs offered by Hospice of the Chesapeake [HOC]. He requested to interview Faith, but also suggested including someone who had directly benefited from hospice programming.

I’ve been working with Faith in order to support The Chesapeake Kids Program…a program that once included my son Harvey. This fact in combination with my professional journey as a Grief Therapist and to Faith, my recommendation was a no-brainer.

It was a honor to be interviewed by WMAR-2 News Baltimore Xavier Wherry TV. You can see our story HERE.

Seeing myself on the news is a bit jarring, but it's worth it knowing someone might reach out for support.

Grief is hard. It's harder alone.
